Today we went
over the “Side Bet” questions that were assigned yesterday. We did this to
better understand the story, the use of short stories devices and as practice
for our upcoming quiz (which is tomorrow). These skills can be used outside of
Humanities when reading books on your own because they can help you further
understand what you’re reading.
For homework, we
had to study for our Short Stories Quiz on Wednesday (tip: read the story carefully
and don’t forget the terms!). Also, don’t forget to show your Firehawks spirit tomorrow
and dress in gold/yellow for the pep rally as well as bringing in
non-perishable food items for the food bank!
